最近 English-only-English (EoE) クラスにお問い合わせが多くて、うれしいです。
ありがとうございます。

ＥｏＥというクラスは、シンガポール校のコースの中でも特徴的なクラスです。
この機会に、少し垣間見ていただきたいと思います。

下記の教材は、先週のＥｏＥクラスで使ったものです。
私の友人が本当に経験したストーリーです。

EoE Lesson 17: A Dangerous Experience

Halfway up the mountain, I noticed that it began to snow. The guide warned us that the snow could block the road and we would not be able to access the way down. Many people surrounding us quit climbing the mountain and started to go down. We were scared. We didn’t know what to do. The guide then promised us that if we could get to the top, there would be a house we could stay in. We agreed. By supporting one another, the rest of us continued on the way up. The snow was heavier compared to earlier on. A strong wind was blowing. Our bags weighed more than it should because of the snow. Finally, we reached the house and spent the night there.

The next morning, the snow had stopped and slowly begun to melt. The guide organized a meeting to tell us what to do. Everyone attended the meeting. When we went out, we could not recognize anything. Everything was white. We were stressed as we could not see the road. We walked slowly to balance ourselves. Soon, we saw that the mountain was decorated with colors – red, green and black. One of us dug into the snow. Then we discovered that they were the bodies of those who went down the mountain the night before. We were surprised. Most of them were dead. Helicopters were flying nearby to rescue people. But it was difficult. It was very scary.

シンガポール校のＥｏＥクラスは、昨年度シンガポール校で計画して誕生した講座です。
教材作り、録音まで、全てシンガポール校で行っています。
毎週決まった新単語を使って、文章を作成して、音声ファイルを作っています。

ＥｏＥクラスの目標は、英検４級から準２級レベルの英語力を段階的につけること、及び、
オール英語の環境で英語の４技能（リスニング・リーでイング・ライティング・スピーキング）を
養成することです。
加えて、授業の中で、英文法や日常単語の学習、ショウ・アンド・テル（SHOW ＆ TELL)も行います。
