生成AIのPhrasal Verb(句動詞)問題対策への活用

前々回のブログ記事ではIdiomリスト生成について取り上げていましたが、
今回はPhrasal Verbs(句動詞)を取り上げてみようと思います。

一部の学校は入試問題の一部として句動詞がらみの問題を出題しますが、
使えそうな情報を生成系AIは「良い感じに」出力してくれるのでしょうか?

Idiomの回では、各イディオムに対して英語の定義用例、および補足説明を記載してもらいましたが、
今回は少し変えて、1つの句動詞に対して「1つの定義」と「2つの用例」を出力してもらいました。
Idiomの回では出力されたリストの体裁を人間側で少し修正を加えましたが、
更に手間を省くために体裁に関してもプロンプトを微調整することで
より早い段階に求めているものを出力してもらえるよう工夫しました。

Example 1: Despite the obstacles, we managed to come through with flying colors.
Example 2: I know you’re going through a tough time, but I have faith that you’ll come through it.
2. Come toto regain consciousness after fainting or being unconscious
Example 1: When she woke up, she didn’t remember what had happened or how she had come to be in the hospital.
Example 2: After the accident, it took him a few moments to come to his senses.
*come toの定義は合っていますが、用例に少しズレが生じていました……やはり確認は必要ですね。改めて探してもらったところ、次のような用例を示してくれました。 It took a few minutes for him to come to after he was knocked out during the fight. The patient had been in a coma for several days before finally coming to. 【注意:toで文が終わって良いの?と感じた読者がいるかもしれませんがここでのtoは前置詞ではなく副詞なので間違っていません。come toだけで「意識を取り戻す」の意味になります。】
3. Come down toto be a matter of or be ultimately determined by
Example 1: It all comes down to whether or not we can secure enough funding to complete the project.
Example 2: In the end, it always comes down to hard work and determination.
4. Come off asto give a particular impression or appear in a certain way
Example 1: She often comes off as aloof or unfriendly, but once you get to know her, she’s really quite nice.
Example 2: In interviews, it’s important to come off as confident and self-assured.
5. Come alongto make progress or develop in a certain way
Example 1: The project is coming along nicely, and we should be able to finish it on time.
Example 2: He’s really come along in his musical abilities since he started taking lessons.
6. Come byto obtain or acquire something, usually by chance or through luck
Example 1: It’s not easy to come by a vintage guitar in such good condition.
Example 2: We were lucky to come by tickets for the concert at the last minute.
7. Come off itto stop behaving in a way that is insincere or exaggerated
Example 1: Come off it, I know you’re not really angry with me.
Example 2: She needs to come off it and stop pretending that everything is okay.
8. Come out withto say or express something, often without prior planning or forethought
Example 1: He came out with a remark that shocked everyone in the room.
Example 2: It’s not like her to come out with such a bold statement, but she was really passionate about the issue.
9. Come round - to visit someone at their home or residence
Example 1: Why don’t you come round for dinner on Saturday evening?
Example 2: She often comes round to borrow books from my library.
10. Come up againstto encounter a difficulty or obstacle
Example 1: The project has come up against a number of challenges, but we’re determined to see it through.
Example 2: She’s come up against some tough competition, but she’s not going to let that stop her from pursuing her dreams.

例文が2つあると、1つはリスト用に、もう1つはテスト用にという使用法が可能だと思います。
欲張って3つ出力してもらって、3つのうちの1つは補足用例として解説用に取っておいても良いかもしれません。
